18 Carl Bonde (1581-1652) participated in the Livonian campaign of King Karl IX in 1605, as did many others who had their coats of arms hewn on these cliffs that same year. He appears later as sheriff in Hollola and as judge in Carelia. Minister in Stockholm from 1633 and married to Beata Oxenstierna, thus brother-in-law to the Chancellor Axel Oxenstierna.
